LP Redesign
The recreation of a LP design cover accurately depicts the mood, tone, and feelings that are evoked when listening to it. The visual elements align in accordance with color imagery, composition, and typography. Along with the LP, a front and back vinyl decal were created.
Image Exploration
Choosing Noah Kahan’s album “Forever,” I expressed the nostalgic feel of the album through the use of blue light. I wanted the images to show the feeling of nostalgia for life that was once lived, and where loved was once shared.
Type Exploration
Once my image was chosen, I experimented with typography, arranging each song to be visually interesting. I wanted the typography to focus on simplicity and clarity in order, alignment, and color.
Final Redesign
My final design reflects the warm, reminiscent, and wistful words and rhythm that each song evokes. I wanted the type to complement the images, creating it to guide the viewers eye towards the couple and composition.
